Merritt and Maxton are participating in the Levine Jewish Community Center's Kid's Triathlon on June 2nd to help raise money for Pediatric Rehabilitation programs at Levine Children's Hospital and the Adaptive Sports and Adventures Program in Charlotte, where Greta sees many patients.
Merritt completed her first triathlon last year and is excited to have her brother compete with her this year to raise money for a great cause! Even though Maxton was too young to compete last year, he helped Merritt raise $1225.00! They are excited to help out more children in need this year and hope to surpass their total from last year, which would mean a visit and special gift from Cam Newton from their favorite team, the Carolina Panthers! Please consider a donation, thank you in advance for your support!
This special event is about more than just good, fun athletic competition – it is about giving back. It is about children of all ages and cultural backgrounds swimming, biking, and running to help other children who are working to get back to doing those same activities. With your support, we can make sure that families in our community have access to the most advanced pediatric rehabilitation where it matters most- close to home.
