Hi! My name is Bailey Christensen and this is the 2nd time I will be participating in the Levine Jewish Community Center's Kid's Triathlon to help raise money for Pediatric Rehabilitation programs at Levine Children's Hospital and the Adaptive Sports and Adventures Program.
I had a brain tumor removed September 2017 and lost almost all the use of the right side of my body. I spent 4 weeks on the Rehabilitation Floor at Levine Children's Hospital, and they helped me so much! They taught me to find ways to adapt to my new life. And they helped me get back to playing the sports I love! I appreciate everything they did for me and I want to give back!
I have set a goal of $3,000, and I would love to be able to reach that goal.
Any donation amount will help so many kids just like me! (even $5, $10, or $20)
This special event is about more than just good, fun athletic competition – it is about giving back. It is about children of all ages and cultural backgrounds swimming, biking, and running to help other children who are working to get back to doing those same activities. With your support, we can make sure that families in our community have access to the most advanced pediatric rehabilitation where it matters most- close to home.
Please consider supporting me with a financial contribution by using the "Support" link located on the right of this page. Thank you for helping me make a difference.
