I work with a lady whose husband has volunteered for several years with the Cycle to the Sea fund raising event. While I always thought that it was a great event I never contributed.

Two (2) years ago a friend's son was injured in an accident and is now paralyzed from the waist down. Last year was the first year my friend's son participated in this event and he enjoyed the experience.

Cycle to the Sea, a fundraiser for the Adaptive Sports and Adventures Program, has become personal to me. This year I was invited to ride with my friend and his two sons. I feel honored and am looking forward to the experience. The Adaptive Sports and Adventures Program does not get as much attention as some other worthy causes, but it is local and could easily be helping your neighbor, friend or family member.
