Walking in Cupid's Cup

Q: Is the "1-Mile Walk" (separate from the 5K) a timed event?

A: No, the 1-Mile Walk is not timed. Typically the 1-mile Walk is guided by a CHS physician or representive of the cardiac rehabilitation program and follows a walkable, easy route through Freedom Park. This is separate and distinct from running/walking in the Cupid's Cup 5K route, which is timed and includes a registration fee.

Q: If I prefer to walk vs. run, do I have to participate in the 1-Mile Walk or may I simply walk the Cupid's Cup 5K route?

A: You are permitted to walk either course (1-Mile Walk or the 5K). However, please note that the 5K route is timed and therefore will require your registration payment as such (5K registration).
