Cardiovascular disease is one of the leading causes of death in America
today, claiming the lives of nearly one million men and women each year.
This disease also accounts for almost six million hospitalizations,
annually. Locally, The Carolinas Heart Institute at Carolinas Medical
Center (CMC) and the Cardiovascular Health & Rehabilitation Program
are combining medical expertise, equipment and facilities to address
this disease and provide both acute care as well as much needed
preventive and rehabilitative care for patients in our community.
Participate in Cupid's Cup on Saturday, February 11, 2012. Form/join a team or register as an individual and help Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute fight cardiovascular disease.
